Another SC won't start thread

I've looked through various threads here but can't find one that totally matches my car's symptoms. The other day while I was driving the car, it was running fine and then just started acting like it wasn't getting power. The upshift light came on and the car died. I pulled over and tried to start the car but it would just crank. After the car sat for ten or so minutes, I tried it again and it fired right up and ran fine. I drove it home and parked it in the garage with no problems.

This afternoon, I tried to start it and nothing. It acted as if it were going to fire up once but afterward it just cranked. The upshift light and check engine lights were blinking when I was cranking it. I've worked with carburetor engines before but am new to the world of superchargers so any help would be appreciated.

Edited to add I went back out and tried it again and it tried to hit a couple of times before the battery died. I have the charger on it now. The upshift and check engine lights weren't blinking when I tried it this time.

Good evening

Scan for codes. Key On Engine Off. Check the ignition switch located in the steering column. Has it started to separate? Base on your description I believe you have the symptoms of a bad crank sensor and or late stage of a harmonic balancer failing causing damage to the sensor. See below.

Thanks for the reply! I had looked at other threads and, even though, my symptoms weren't exactly the same, I was thinking that was the case.

I had the exact same issue on mine.
Did you check the harmonic balancer bolt? Make sure it is not sheared off. Without the bolt holding the balancer in place, I will cause the balancer to pull away from the crankshaft. A few millimeters is enough for the sensor to not see the balancer ring anymore.
Next swap the DIS with a known working unit.
