Anyone ever buy any exhaust system from TruBendz off eBay? Opinions on this kit?

Hello All,

I Googled 92-97 Thunderbird exhaust and found this on eBay:

There are several versions, this one is stainless . For $280, what do you all think? I had a 91 SC several years ago that had true duals all the way to the cats, no resonator, and it sounded pretty good to me:

Personally, I think it sounds better without mufflers, especially Flowmaster.. But that is just my opinion.

Thoughts? Comments?

I have used that system on a number of vehicles, and the fit is pretty good. One thing I do recommend is welding the 2 pipes together where it goes around the gas tank. The pipes sit so close to each other that sometimes they rattle if you don't do that. Also, while the $280 price is good for what you are getting, keep in mind that this is not a complete exhaust system. It only goes to just in front of the fuel tank, so from the cats to there you will have to either use your stock system or fab something up, and it also does not include any cats or mufflers, but that also means you can add your mufflers of choice to the setup.

TrueBendz is the "brand name" that Mandrel Exhaust Systems uses. Confirmed by comparing contact #s.
Josh @ MES has been pretty extensively reviewed on TCCOA

I personally have used their system to piece together my lemons exhaust system. I contacted Josh via email, explained what pieces I wanted, and he worked things out with me for a price cheaper than each of the mandrel bends would have cost from Summit. Shipping for all the pieces was actually pretty reasonable to SF, CA as well.

What I bought was not a bolt on system but provided you can weld decently (or good enough NOT to have leaks), the cost/flexibility/customer services was great.
My downpipes I got (for a lemons track car), were positioned perfectly so the modular exhaust system I built with flanges (comes apart in 3 pieces for easy engine/trans swaps @ the racetrack) is easy to deal with.
