nanatothesixth,
Even though it sounds like you've decided to handle the build-up yourself, you may want to contact Tom Morana at Morana V6 Racing to inquire about parts. Tom is a very reasonable guy, and he has tons of experience with these motors. If you'd like a great reference for Tom, talk to Bill McNeil. Bill bought a big motor from Tom this past year.
Cheers,

Tom,
As for pistons, I would recommend either Diamond or Ross.
As for rods, Eagle makes both an H beam and an I beam version, and there are several other good H beam rods available.
As for lifters, use the stock ones.
As for pushrods, once you establish what length you will need, you can order moly hardened pushrods from quite a few sources.
As for rockers, any 1.73 application will do, the more $$ the better the quality. You'll have to decide between stud and pedestdal mount. Pedestal is what I have, much easier, non-adjustable.
As for a cam, that is your personal choice. I would recommend you get someone to recommend a good grind for you.
400 horses ain't easy, but it is achievable.

There is a group buy on the H beam rods, I would check that out. It's on the "group buy" page off the main page.

Eagle rods are best, resize some beefy aftermarket 351W rods if you want the absolute best. As for pistons, custom Ross or Wiseco's would be the best choice. Its a bit more money to go custom but you'll need it if you want a genuine 400hp SC and you want it to live.
Over build the bottom end, thats my advice!
