I thought we had seen the end of these goblins. what causes the server busy? Too many people online, or wherever the site is based is having problems????

(I'll be moving this to the more appropriate "sccoa.com" forum.)

There are settings in the VBulletin software that display those messages when the server load (combination of things) is above a target setting. This can help to keep the operating system from completely getting locked up.

They had gone away when we moved to a new hosting company and got a faster box. Anyway that first box had problems and we got moved to a virtual server. Apparently, our neighbors on the new box generate more traffic than the old neighbors did and we get the busy signal way more often than we like.

We have now gone back to the hosting company and are trying to get moved to a dedicated server like we were promised in the first place! Believe you me, no one hates these busy messages more than Ron DiPaola and myself!!!!!!

We're working as hard as we can to make sure the messages GO AWAY!
