Header installation

How hard is it to install a set of SCP jet coat headers in my '90 SC? When I have worked on my other T-Birds in the past it looked hard to pull them off. What do I have to do to succesfully get them off and put the new ones on? What do I need to buy with the headers if I dont have an EGR?

its pretty difficult to install the headers, but if you are some what mechanically inclined, well, its still pretty difficult. when you buy the headers you will get an issure of chargin thunder that tells you step by step how to install them. you are very lucky you dont have an egr valve! the only thing to get with the headers are the header bolts.

if you have access to a lift use it. The driver side comes right out through the bottom if you undo the steering column from the rack. The passenger side comes right out from the bottom if you just remove the starter. This job can be done in about 3-6 hours depending upon your method. you know on the floor with jack stands or the use of a lift.
