1) What is the normal Vac reading? mine is just above the 20, its like 19, I have an autometer boost guage also and when I turn the car off the needle goes directly in the middle but on the dash its to the left of 0. I remember the vac being a little higher like 20, perhaps of the really cold weather here.. any input?

2) My hood is a little unaligned with the left fender but aligned with the right fender.. anyway to fix that?

thanks guys ;)

Any vac reading right around 20 is normal at idle. As for the hood it sounds like either a hinge or one of your fenders is the problem.

Bill my 35th idles in drive at about 15 or slightly less and in park it's almost 20. From my past experience with older mustangs, I always looked for about 15 inches of vacuum in a stock configuration. I think you're fine. :)

The stock boost guage sits off a bit because its not really accurate. You will need to pull the needle off and center it.
