Tranny Fluid

I have a 1994 Thunderbird SC with an automatic transmission. I'm planning on changing my tranny fluid this weekend and was wondering how much fluid my transmission case holds. Any help or tips would be MUCH appreciated!

Corey the torque converter has a 8mm plug on its engine side that is accessable by removing the rubber plug behind the oil pan inserted into the cover plate. Either turn the crank with a large socket on the damper bolt or bump the starter until the plug is at the bottom and remove it to drain all the fluid from the tranny along with the pan and filter. If you drain pan and converter it will require about 12.5 quarts to refill it. The books don't give a breakdown for one or the other at a time.
