Yesterday i was doin somthin under the hood while the car was running, i didnt have the a/c running, but i noticed the clutch on the pully would engage for a second then disengage, it would do this every few mins, just wondering why it does that? And should it be doin that?

Thanks
Joe

I know when the A/C is on it's supposed to do that. My friends 5.0 Mustang does it when it's off too. I never saw it come on on my 3.8 base nor Have I ever felt come on. Don't know but I'm starting to think it's supposed to.

Is your defroster on?? cause that'll kick on the AC clutch
