Hey guys,

This is Doug from Ranger Power Sports. I'm the 4.0 v6 board moderator over there. I plan on attending the Commerce and maybe even bristol FFW this year and was wondering if you guys would be up for a challenge? What I'm proposing is a V6 site shoot-out kinda like Bristol last year but hopefully with a better turn out. Competion in a few different areas such as:

Site particapation

1.)# of entry's between the T-birds and the Rangers

2.) Fastest V6

3.) Who gets the farthest in the class.

Now since the small turnout for the v6 class last year I can't even get a sponcer to think about talking with FFW about another so I elect that we use the bracket Quick Ford class as our class. This would also lower entry fee's and even make a buy-back possible.

We have a solid 3 rangers so far signed up and ready to go, this event isn't until April so you have some time to get ready. I wanna say that Tom Y. from Super Six motorsports should be there if not to race then to at least watch. If you have any problems with your V6 while your there we should have enough stuff to get you going enough to get you home.

So come on guys.maybe if we show enough participation here we can talk with someone about next year or another event in this.

Thanks Doug904.

I did wanna say thanks to whomever the T-bird driver was last year in Bristol!

Rick Cunningham and I'll be at Commerce to run. We're down in the low 13's now which may be a bit quick for the Rangers. The only one I've ever run that was competitive was a fellow at Commerce with a black Ranger a couple of years ago that ran consistent 14.7's. If someone's got one with a Vortec or NOS that should make for quite a run. I would like to see a V6 class myself. I usually run Street Ford class at FFW, though.

Thats great!! Some true V6 competion, I assure you we won't let you down. With 2 others, inlcluding the one black ranger you spoke of, in the low 13's and one who shall remain namless knocking on the high 12 second door I hope to put on a good show for some sponsors.

V6 performance rules!!
