Thought I would share a few pictures of my engine before it gets pulled out again.

Very nice! What did you do to your engine compartment to give it that textured, peppered gray look? Pretty cool... :D

Looking good man. Real good! How big of a shot have used on that ZEX kit and do you have any 1/4 mile times for the car. Why are you pulling the engine again. Just curious.:)

joenintiesc--The paint is flexcoat, it comes in several different colors

Jimmy 2Coupes-- I have several different nozzles, will probably just stick with a 55 shot.
No 1/4 mile times yet. My long block is stock w/ 140k on it 270rwhp
My rebuild includes 30 over ross pistons, eagle rods, o-ringed block, 1/2 inch headstuds, copper gaskets, steigmeyer heads and cam, 14lb Mcleod flywheel, etc.
Thanks Gary

Is this flexcoat a specialty paint used for unrelated applications? I did a search and only came up with foam stage scenery paint, and fishing rod paint...

I only want to know because I believe it was your SC I saw at Carlisle, and ever since I have been waiting to stumble upon a pic of it online so I could identify the owner and ask!

Thats is one bad A$$ SuperCoupe man. Cant wait to see it when its done if thats what it loks like b4 hand. Now all i can do is WAIT..:::: Jeperdy Music::: HaHa Later bro

joenintiesc-- Actually it is FleckStone paint it is used for exterior metal, such as mail boxes patios furniture, ect. You can probably get it at a auto store and Wal-mart.

Thanks Gary

Beautiful work!

One word "Awesome" :)
That is a beautiful work of art! nice engine polished looks so neat.you need a (plastic see through hood) so people can see that awesom looking motor

You do nice work!

I love all the polished parts. I especially like the transmission dipstick out of the passenger fender trick. Easy way to check the transmission fluid. It probably also helps to locate the front of the car when turning right. :p
