driveshaft

i'm sure this is way to late,
but,

loosen it from the differential. push it forward into the trans.

now loosen all the bolts holding the diff. to the chassis.

then rotate the diff down and back. now pull the drive shaft out of the tranny. just pull back until it buts up against the differential

ps. assclown you know better.

I dont know, what if he rips the CV boots or something, by now all the parts in these cars are hardened. Plus you should also remove the ABC clips from the frame to prevent the wires from tearing or pulling out of the sensor:rolleyes:

yes you are right about the ABS sensors. they would need to be taken off the diff, before its rolled down. Thanks i forgot that.

but as for the CV- the boot, the shaft will rotate in the diff. no differently than if the wheel was spinning. and i think when you lower the diff down there is nothing that the boot would lean on.

and in case you still don't feel its safe. i've done trans' on SC's twice and this is how i did it, and never ran into any problems.
