Shifter problems

I have a B&M Ripper shifter on my 91 SC. My problem is that every one of the bolt holes that holds the shifter to the tranny are stripped out. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so, what size bolt could I use to bolt it down. Im not even sure of the diameter of the original bolt hole.

Take one of the bolts to an autoparts store and get a Helicoil that fits it. It'll enable you to retighten the bolts. I didn't strip mine, I wrung the heads off a couple of the bolts.
