Althought I like the WRX and wish they still made a 2 door I think there are better choices for performance if you want an AWD Turbo. Like a 98 Eagle Talon AWD TSi. Take out the **** 2.0L bottom end and drop in the mitsu 2.4 bottom, upgrade the turbo and away you go. :) Plus they are cheap now and I think they look better. Did I mention I hate 4 door cars? :)
