You mean my "Capel Stage III Monster Heads"???
...Ancient Chinese Secret!
Sebastien could tell ya, but then he'd have to kill ya.
J/K!!!
;)
Seriously though, I think to this day that that pair of heads and lower intake I bought from Sebastien are one of the main reasons I'm only a few HP behind someone like Ed and his beautiful '95 SC. Thanks, Sebastien!
Cheers,
Sean

light pocket work, gasket match and blend on the intake side, and rework the short side radius on the exhaust side. Of course I did have the guidance of a competant race engine builder whos been a friend of the family for quite some time(we don't hold it against him that he specializes in chevys)
Sean can attest to this, there really isn't that much done to the heads physically but they do seem to add a little pep. Sean I'm very impressed by the numbers your car is putting out, with just a few more choice bolt ons you'll be embarrasing some others who've put in alot more :-) keep it up

Thanks Sabby, but I must say I'm new to the head porting world, so what does light pocket work mean? Can you email with some details or once I see them, i know what you are talking about. Does anyone have a "spare" set of heads, for some trail work?

I know, there are 2 motors in there, One is for the car in backyard. the other motor, well lets just tryand to forget about it. It will be some time before that one is ready. Just didn't want to rip that one apart if I can get a spare set off anyone who doesn't need them(Ron).

Ryan if you wanna do some tial work on the spare set I have no problem just make sure they are gonna find their way bolted on to my 92 or maybe a 4.4 stroker from Tom Morana JK
it wil be a while before I can commit that kind of cash to my bird but it is a nice thought:)

Sabby,
Thanks for the encouraging words!
I believe in giving credit where credit is due...
The heads and intake I got from you are probably the biggest contributor so far, so thanks again for all your help! Also, the ported exhaust manifolds that you did for me are helping on the exhaust side. This combo has allowed me to make good use of the 76mm C&L MAF that Bill gave me a deal on, and the MAC CAI that I bought from Ed at Fines as my very first mod.
I've got a long way to go yet, but the stuff I've got in the works this Winter should help! Depending on how much of a difference the blower porting Ryan and I do makes, I may very soon be at a point where I've maxed out what my current mill will ever do. So, I'm already starting to think about that spare motor I've got, and perhaps having Tom or Fred do a set of big heads for me (I've still got the set that originally came off my motor).
Thanks again, everyone, for your contributions.
Best regards,
Sean
