I'm 25, no tickets or bang ups. I pay $150 a month. Thats for a '95 with full coverage, & just comprehensive on a '90. That was thru a friend of mine, he has since switched to new company, where when my policy is up, I can renew it with him for probably a better price. Wait til then, I'll pass his # along to you guys.

348 is spot on for your age, when you turn 21 it should drop to under 200month.
Its an expensive vehicle to insure, I pay 170/month for my truck, 4wheeler and life insurance combined and I'm only 22. 1 accident no tickets.

I'm 22 and have a 97 TransAm WS6 and I pay $288/mnth for full coverage. I also have 2 current tickets. Go to www.insurancehotline.com/to and find insurance there, you'll get an online quote and it's easy to fill out. I believe Pilot Insurance is one of 2 or 3 insurnace companies that will give decent rates to young males with high performance cars. :) A guy I would with just told me he was paying $600/mnth for a 97 Civic DX and he has no tickets or accidents so you should really look around as rates very a lot. Most places wanted $500+/mnth for me.

At the advanced age of 36, with no tickets or accidents for at least 10 years anyway, I'm paying about $95 per month. That's with my SC not being my primary vehicle any more ... I think it was about $20 or $25 per month more when it was still my daily driver. The best deal of course is on my 68 Cougar with the Silver Wheel Plan through Lant Insurance, $88 per year with full coverage, not a daily driver either.
cheers

I pay $1450/yr on my 93, the policy provides for 5 million in 3rd party liability, and collision coverage too (although I should probably think about dropping that soon). No accidents/no tickets. I have the highest ratings you can get (six stars) in all categories, and this qualifies me for a 15% reduction on the total.
My SC is insured as a "daily driver" and also used "to & from work" which increases the cost. Since I live in Hamilton, it's a group 2 fee (Toronto & surrounding area is group 1 - even higher cost).
I get a kick out of everyone stating their costs by the month! when did this start? :D
Handy tip: The group area is a big factor in the total cost, and if you can re-locate your primary residence to another area with a higher number, you'll save a bundle. Unfortunately, most of us don't have that ability :( Several of my friends own cottages up north, and they simply use that address. (Lucky bstrds! :D) I'd kill for group 6 rates (like for example my North Bay friends enjoy). My insurance costs would literally be less than half of what I pay now

I am so sick of the crap insurance compaines feed us! There is always some sorry exscuse as to why you pay more than somebody else does for the vehicle you drive.
I pay more on my ranger because it's a 4X4. I pay more on the XR-7 because it's an XR-7. They don't have a clue what the S/C means. It's actually pretty cheap because it's only a 6 cylinder. Does the insurance company actually have a clue as to how fast this car really is? I doubt it.
We paid more on our 93 Tempo because it was a "Sport" model. Ohhh nice guys, it's got two doors, aluminum rims and an ugly spoiler on the trunk lid. It's the same dang tempo as any other 4cyl auto. Two less doors and shiny wheels does not make it any more/less dangerous than a regular Tempo!
When is this industry going to be fair to the consumer and stop being so discriminitory on people for how old they are and what they choose to drive. These companies grab money against the very principles that we are raised on!
If I owned a company and said to my employees "I'm paying the youngest one the least" how far would I get. That to me is the same as charging the youngest drivers the most. C'mon, it should be fair, and go by the persons driving record and the value of the vehicle.
I once (when I was younger) bought a 1980 Thunderbird for a winter beater for $150.00 It cost me $1000.00 to insure it for 6 months. It was expensive because it was a 2 door V8. C'mon, this was no sports car. The 255 V8 had trouble getting off a piece of gum.
Sorry...just venting my opinion a little
