B blksc Registered User Jan 12, 2003 #2 Just to know I found this on a general tech site regarding the sensor: FAILURE SYMPTOMS A faulty EVP sensor may trigger a “Check Engine” light, and symptoms such as hesitation, poor fuel economy, engine “pinging”, rough idle and sudden acceleration.
