Magencore make a very nice SC application @ 8.5 MM
No need to alter the plug gap.

I have the Magnacor 8.5's. They are very good quality wires, however when I installed them they misfired under heavy boost.
I later found out others had suffered the same problem, and the cure was to reduce the plug gap. For most .048 ~ .050 was enough. I went to .045 myself.

Ron, you have seen those up close and personnel before. Remmember, 2am? They seem to work fine in my car. No problems to report about them.

Really Paul? I didn't know that was the reason you reduced the gap. I'd never heard of the wires being a factor.
I have 9mm wires and maintained the stock gap, when I had the stock plugs that is.

Yep, that's the reason Bill. I bought my Magnacors' about 4 years ago, but took them off and re-installed the stock wires because they were misfiring under boost.
I sent them back to Magnacor and they shipped me a brand new set, but the new ones did the same thing. I wrote them off as a loss until I read about others experiencing the same problems I had.
Davo, I purchased mine from Bill Hull for $99 US. I believe Bill E. sells them (I think... not sure though).

Ron, we need to get the help of LAZYBIRD. With his skinny arms, it should be no trouble at all.
Let me know when you are planning to do it, I'm SUPER busy at work right now, 7 dats a week for the next 2 weeks.
