I have found a place where we can meet for our Tech Days. It has an air compressor and plenty of room and parking. If we meet on weekends I don't think we could have any problem with the whine of the old supercharger once in a while. It is in So. El Monte in an industrial park. We can do some arranging of the facility to accomodate our needs.
That was it is centrally located and it would be a place to call our own, if we wanted.

What do you guys think?
It would be perfect if it had a car hoist like a gas station, but als it doesn't. Of course we would need to bring our own tools.

Do you like the idea?
The cost would be nominal.

I see it has its possibilities. What do you mean by nominal?

That sounds awesome! I'd happily be willing to pay some type of rental to acquire the place.

How nominal is it? Would we be in it for long term, short term or daily rates??? Great idea, lets hear the specifics.

I haven't worked-out any specifics but here are some assumptions;
My cousin leases this big building and he isn't using this part and I asked him if we could us it, he said yes....cost? Just to cover what we run up in light, gas and stuff. I guess we could sub lease and pay him something, but that we could decide later. So by nominal I mean 5-20 buck a month.

We would be foolish not to take it whenever we need it! We can work out the "fine print" at the next meet.

A run out the 60 wouldn't be bad for me, the question is when can we meet to take a look?
Speaking of $$, does the chapter take dues? If so, how much & when? Remember, I've been out of touch.

No dues, just show up and have fun whenever we plan events. There is a document in process to establish what we Southern Salifornians consider guidelines for being Club Members, it should be posted soon.
