Alright, I know a few of you frequent the other board and may have already seen the question in Hoddy's Garage, but I will ask here as well. What are you all running for plug wires? Brands? gap changes on the plugs? Opinions, problems, recommendations . . . lemme know.

I've had the Taylors on mine for about 3 years and 90,000 km now. Put them on the first time we did a tune-up on it, and checked the condition of them closely when we tuned it up again last spring before Carlisle ... they were still fine. Some people have had issues with the clips holding the ends to the coil pack breaking, but mine are fine so far.

I'm still running stock wires on my '90. I'm not so sure I want to invest the $105 USD and take my chances with the Magnacor wires. What are the Taylors worth these days? Are they available in red and/or blue?
Cheers,
Sean

Taylor wires should be around $85 CAN or so ... they are available in red or blue for the pre-made sets.

Alright . . . Ford priced me 83.00 for the Stockers, and I priced out a set of Taylors at 100.00. Are the Taylor worth the money . . . are the stockers prone to damage with frequent removal?

Dave, the Ford stock replacement wires (Motorcraft) should be fine with frequent on and off, the clips are good. BTW, the Canadian list price on those is $72.18, plus taxes. I can sell you a set for the club price of $57.74 plus GST, and a few bucks for shipping. Send me an e-mail or a p.m. if you're interested in a set of those. I can also order in the Taylors for you, I'll have to call tomorrow to confirm the exact price.

I PM Ed, just waiting for him to get back to me . . . I guess I will just phone him . . . he he company long distance rules, um anyway I am going to go with the Stockers, thanks for everybodies input on this . . . the ones on the car currently appear to be originals . . . so after 235,000km and original plug wires I suspect I might see a small performance gain . . . whoo hooo

Gee Bill! Don't hold back! And all because someone sold you the wrong sized set! ;)
I run red Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm wires (part no. tc 74269) with Motocraft double platinum plugs. And that's a stock gap on them plugs.
