Peter,

Personally, I'm not keen on that light green that they offered the '94 XR7's in. Otherwise, it sounds like a decent car. ...Depends a lot on the price.

I don't mind the look of the '94 XR7's. I wonder if someone might take one, yank out the 4.6L V8 and AODE, and slap in a 3.8L SC motor with an M5R2?! ...The look and feel of a new Cat, but the bite of the rare '89-'90 XR7's. ...That might be interesting.

...Just my $0.02 worth.

Best regards,

Sean

Five-oh, five-oh....would be nice.
Just out of curiosity, where could one find out how many cars a manufacturer produced of a certain vehicle/year? Know what I mean? How many '90 SC 5-speeds were made, etc,?
Anyone have a web-site(s) I can check this out?
Please and thanks!

A nice Mark 8 4.6 DOHC would be sweet in there, or how about a 2003 Cobra Eaton-blown 4.6 DOHC ? :eek: ... think that would need a raised hood though, loosing the sleeper effect.

Ed,

Are the 32V 4.6L Cobra motors becoming any less difficult to come by used in Canada? I'm talking about the NA version, not the 2003 Cobra motors.

I've heard of some of the US guys getting these at decent prices, but not up here.

...No, I have no aspirations of putting one in my SC, thank-you.

Cheers,

Sean

{Edit} Woohoo!!! It's my 1600th post!!! ...Not that I'm counting. {/Edit}

If you aren't counting, then why did you mention it ?? :rolleyes: :eek: :p :D

As for the Cobra motors, they are starting to turn up here and in the U.S. ... one of the guys in the GTA Mustang club has a complete 01 Cobra crate motor, brand new, that he's selling for around $5k. A few years ago, we could order a new 01 Cobra short-block assy. from Ford for about $1500 CAN, but they've since discovered their mistake and changed the price to $5500.
