Head Gasket Question

I am wondering if there may be an advantage to using head gaskets off of a front wheel drive 3.8L. I have heard that front wheel drive 3.8 has large cooling holes in the gasket than the rear wheel drive versions. This is because the transverse 3.8L is harder to cool because it is more compact in the engine compartment, so the holes are bigger to supply motor water to the heads for better cooling. If this is true it might be worth our while to look into these gaskets for our SC engines, I was just wondering if anyone had 1, thought about this yet or 2, better yet has already tried it or 3, has any insight or information about what the diffrences may be.

Thanks
Tim

Or maybe this is just a stupid idea, let me know what you guy think.

I would just stick with the Fel-Pros for our cars. I personally don't know if the FWD 3.8's were any different. You can upgrade to the 4.2 gaskets, but you will need to machine the block deck and head mating surfaces to acheive the proper surface finish.

I just looked up the head gaskets on Autozone.com and they are diffrent.
The SC uses 9641PT-2
The Taurus uses 9560PT
The 3.8 T-Bird uses 8857PT-1

So there is a diffrence, I am going to have to investigate.
