Hey Jim, you can call Famoso at the number on their website and find out. John is been anxious to go out to the track for a few more runs and he seems to be interested in 40º weather up in Nor Cal.

As for me, I've been anxiously waiting for the brown truck to drop off some goodies. Not anything major, just a few upgrades ;) Also, I was recently pulled over for "Warpspeed" in a 65....or somewhere there abouts.

That's a good idea about coming South to Bakersfield for a run or two. The weather is mild at the moment. Now down here in the deep so cal it is absolutely beautiful. No Kidding. It has been in the 70's and clear. The wind picks up now and then but otherwise it is perfect.

Bakersfield will be nice and cool in the mornings and evenings and would be terrific for a quick blast down the track with your hot rod. I know you are gonna break that record soon...so good luck and let us know if you go down there as I am sure we will come up for that one.

p.s. Bring your Henchmen (Mark and Ron).

They're shut down now for construction and not scheduled to open until 2/22. http://www.famosoraceway.com/schedule.html

Looks like the Friday night T&T doesn't start until May 9.

Jim,
Altitude at LACR (Palmdale) is rather high, about 2400. If you are willing to drive that far, come down to California Speedway in Fontana, it's about 1100. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hmm, most Honda sites ahve the elevation at 2600 and then Danny Swanson has it at 3600. There's no information on the site about what the actual elevation is. Fontana should be better!
