How long do the cruises/meetings last ? I work the grave yard shift and im trying to see whether i should take a personal day or something

We usually meet somewhere and wait until the last guy gets there. We swap cell phone numbers or walkie talkies, whatever we brought, and get on the same frequency. Then we cruise (drive over in a group in a straight line so we get attention :D). Then we get to the track and it looks cool seeing a bunch of the same cars together. We usually plan to all be at the same spot 45 minutes before we have to leave to the track; ie if Fontana opens up at 11:00, and its going to take an hour to get there, we all try to be at the meeting place at 9:15.

OH okay sounds like i'd have plenty of time to get to work... I'll call out anyway !

So far the only place that sounds reasonable to meet at is in Cal Poly Pomona (off the 10 right after the 57) and from there on it only takes about another 20 minutes to get there so it isnt much of a cruise. The second place I thought of was Whittier Narrows Recreational area. But John and Mike and possibly a few others(who would be coming down and up the 605) would back track down to the 60 freeway about 6 or 7 miles. Its up to them, back track a little or a short cruise???
