It turns out that it wasn't my rad leaking, it was the water pump. My mechanic was booked solid, so I took it to the dealership and they are going to fix it on Friday. They quoted me $480.00 plus tax to replace the water pump and the thermostat. After reading your post that a water pump is around $80.00, I'm having second thoughts about having them do it. I'm thinking that if the pump was even $100.00 and an estimate of a couple hours labour $150, how the heck are they coming up with $480.00? Let me know what you think. Thanks once again.

Dale, list price on the water pump is about $125, that's a special price I have for members on the new Ford part. Labour is probably 3 - 4 hours in a rate guide, I would have to check that tomorrow at work. So the $480 is not out of the question at normal dealership pricing.
