When you changed your H/G's what else was changed?

What other engine part was a top priority to you when you changed your headgaskets?
 
i had to have my heads sent out and be milled. it was a good thing cause it makes more compression therefore giving me a little more hp. probably not much cause i barely noticed

Bearings, pistons, rings, oil pump, valves, etc.... But I had 190,000 miles on the clock. Now all I need is the motor back from the builder.

i bought 2 headgaskets about 18.99 a piece for felpro and an intake gasket and changed oil and filter 2 or 3 times
