Man, I don't hit the sack until 4:30am after partying all night!
Taffy pulling and bingo goes all night aroung here, but I guess we can make changes for the sake of this righteous meet!
This means we need to leave Ventura at 4:00am.....There are going to be some grumpy faces in the Garcia caravan.

lol Carlos you buttnugget, I am picking up my gf (at her house) and then going to Pomona to meet the rest of the So Cal crew (the rest of you guys) I didnt see a point in meeting up and cruising to Pomona since I'd be at the gf's house packing up some stuff early and then heading out to pomona for the 5 minute drive :)

Al....has the track been filling up to the point where we need to be there that early? I mean, if we have to ....we have to, right?
Talking to the troops... that is really early for us to have to leave to meet at the rally point. Just giving you the heads-up.

I hope my SC is out of the shop so that you guys can check it out.
(I wonder if all that cold air will be a problem on my motor??!!??)
I should have it back and ready for paint in a week from this Saturday.
It is going to be so tight!

Cold air is never a bad thing on an efi car. When I was at Mike's we talked about what time we should be out there. He mentioned that when John goes out there to run, he usually is waiting in line at about 5:45 and that it does get full. So its probably a good idea to get there nice and early.

My experience has been that it pays to show up early. That way you can breeze through tech and also get an cooler first run. Otherwise, with 500 cars allowed, getting caught in that logjam can waste most of the morning. I personally got #500 once arriving at 8:20 one day. That taught me that (1) if I had been #501 I'd have been SOL and (2) it's no fun waiting for hours in the tech line.

so for those of you who are running.. what time will you be arriving ?

al35thsc

I plan to be waiting in line at around 6:00 AM at the latest.

This is going to a great event!
Al, you can rest easy my friend. El "N" will more than likely NOT run and not show at this meet. He will be in the barn getting his new hood attached. (I can't wait).
I was thinking that 4:00am may not be early enough to leave Ventura County. What do I care....Nikki will probably be driving her van and I will be asleep with Buzz.

That's just wrong Ron!! At least have the decency to stay up and say "are we there yet" repeatedly until she yells.

Buzz and I may stay awake long enough to chow down on some granola bars and drink some orange juice. Ho Hum....I'm getting sleepy already.
