OH sorry! yep its just stroked 350.

Secret to these stroker engines is the R/L ratio. As you increase stroke you should also increase rod length to keep the R/L ratio to somewhere between 1.60 to 1.75 My big block had a R/L ratio of 1.80! but hey that cost me 700 bucks in custom pistons. :p

What does this go into Carlos? Two-bolt main on a stroker is not my brand of a racing motor dude. Are you going to add a 400 cid crank? Man, after all the work, why not just go with a big block?
Al is ultimately correct....let's talk Fords bro! (I ran a SS396 in my previous life as Mr. StreetRacer).
Later Dude....See ya at Fontana. Go Mike (j.k.)

The motor is going into a 87 firebird GTA. As for the caps, they will hold up just fine for a 400ci crank. I'll leave the chevy stuff off.

Big blocks are big money. I've already built a BBC and wanted to learn and work on the SBC's

Aww, i like a challenge too, but i also like to have a atleast decent horsepower to expense ratio :-p I love my sc, even though its expensive as all hell, but i want a 12 to 10 second car and i can stay now i dont have the patience to do it with my sc

You 'Los......was I too hard on you? What comment was too hard? The one about the "four-bolt" main? That's alot of mass coming down on those mains bro!
Anyway, we need to toughen Carlos up a bit as he is going to be surprised when he races Stone Cold at Fontana.

ON a Chevy, or IN a Chevy? Either one's gotta hurt!

In a chevy :(, and the only thing that hurts is having to use it to go get parts for my Ford...
