Which pre-lube works the best for engine assembly?

I am putting my motor back together after machine work was done to the block and lower end (crank, rods, pistons, ect..). I was wondering if a moly based grease would function as a good assembly lubricant, or if I should use something else? I don't want to starve the engine of oil before i even get it running!! I use it on all parts that get any kind of friction (main and rod bearings, cam bearings, ect..)

Thanks,

Use engine assembly lube, it's made specifically for engine assembly believe it or not.

Just guying you, seriously don't try to reinvent the wheel, this stuff says what it does and does what it says. Once you have the engine installed leave the plugs out and disconnect the coil pack then turn it over with the starter until the oil reaches full pressure. Then install the plugs and you're ready to go.
