how much?

how much would i be looking at to have the resontaor replaced with a y pipe and two dynomax super turbo mufflers with the tips going through the bumper, like george d's car. i'm kinda on a budget and i don't have too much to spend, but i want to upgrade my car, bit by bit. thanks for any help.

I just spent $200 for a Hi-flow res.
& had the mufflers removed & tailpipe
in there place at a muffler shop.
I did this after reading some tips in this
forum about leaving the res & removing the mufflers for best sound & flow combo

i'm leaning more toward the y pipe, so no muffs would be way too loud (but kinda cool).

there was also a price increase to fab. a
y pipe rather than the dynomax res.
I like the sound . you might check out
the media section on this site & watch/listen to the drag racers some have pipe all the way, others have what
you are thinking about . you will be
improving your flow either way. Have
you gutted out yor catalitic converter
yet?? that is a must if you haven't.

yeah, i think i'll check that out. i haven't gutted the cats yet, but i definitely plan on getting rid of them, or getting hi-flow cats, that's something else i have to think about. at least i don't have emission tests so i have the option. we'll see, i guess.
