My dad and I work on my car myself so its hard for me to recommend on personal experience. A fellow member, Rick Cunningham works at Higgins Performance in Atlanta owns 2 SC's and supposedly works on other people's cars at his home too. Mike Puckett always has Rick work on his car so maybe he can vouch for his work. Personally speaking, Ive known Rick for at least 2 years, so I know he's a good guy. He doesnt get on this board much but you may find his email or something on our chapter site at sccose.tripod.com
Good Luck,

Thanks, I can do alot of things myself, but some of the internal parts are a little dificult for me to try, needing help with the clutch master cylnder replacement, lost all presure to the clutch, checked fluid its full, and the rod is still attatched to the pedal ...So I am guessing master but not sure.....Thanks for the info ......Brad

Brad, I watched the master cylinder get replaced in mine. The hardest part is disconnecting the pedal linkage from the cylinder rod. The unit it self does a half twist and comes right out. You just need to move the reservoir for it out of the way. The pedal linkage is a real pain though.

Someone told me that the hydrolic line that it connects to was a pain, I just took one look at the engine compartment and shut the hood ... I guess I might take another look

As I recall, the hydraulic line was no big deal. But then the guy who did it for me is a professional mechanic, a good one too, and he makes everything look easy. I don't remember how it separates though.

??? Do you have to remove the Wiper cowl to get to the clutch master, or can you reach everything without taking it off...

Better to take it off for more room. It'll make things a lot easier to reach.

Well I just found out what happens when a 89 model car sits for a few years in the weather.... The hose that runs from the resv. to the master was stoped up, problem solved.....
