When installing the syncronizer ***'y, the manual tells you to set the engine so it is 26 degrees BTDC on the compression stroke. The only problem with this is that the timing marks only go out to ten degrees. Is it safe to assume that I can just measure the distance (using calipers) from 0 to 26 degrees ATDC and translate this measurement to the other (BTDC) side?
