head gaskets

If the repair was done at a Ford dealership the Ford network may be able to find the repair invoice.

Otherwise you can would have to tear the thing apart to check. You may also be able to check the head bolts. The head bolts have to be replaced everytime the heads are removed so if the bolts have an aftermarket name stamped on the top you can be pretty sure that they have been replaced.

If you remove the engine for any reason it is a good idea to replace the head gaskets because they last a lot longer than the original style Ford installed.

Good Luck!
