i know this is not the time to ask this....but i want this problem fixed before the warmer weather hits....if this is actually a problem. when i turn the a/c on, my car rides at a higher temp. i notice this cause when it is off, the temp sensor is at about 1/4 to the left side, when the a/c is on, it rises at about 1/2, and i can notice that it is actually kinda running hotter. my question is that is this a problem, or is it how this birdys work, which im not happy with since those head gaskets are very sensitive to heat. what do i do? is there something with the cooling? a/c compressor? any coments would help. thanks

When you turn the A/C on, does the radiator fan kick in? Its supposed to. When the needle hits the "r", the high speed fan should kick in.. it should be noticable.
