Auto seat belts sticking in cold

When it below 10 degrees, my car won't let me out. It stays in the drivining position and does not try to operate. On warmer days it works fine. I have sprayed oil on it for frozen locks with no results.

It's a pretty common problem. That's what we get for having auto seatbelts. You can replace them, but I'm not saying that it will help much. Lubing them is the best thing you can do for them.

Same thing happens on my '93; but I carefully (using a piece of cardboard to catch the overspray) spray silicone lube all inside the plastic channel around the door opening.
