I'm not posting this to start a flame war, I'm simply trying to get the majority of the votes to take to the Head Cheese and show them that the condition of the BBS is all caused by 1 person! We've given Jim plenty of chances and he continues to reduce the quality of this site to what it is today. I've been here since the SCCoA first went online and never has it been as bad as it is now. I will not post ANY responses to ANY posts here, this is simply a count, Like it or Not!

I don't think he should be banned, YET. Some of his posts have pissed me off, the one about mustang guys being cooler than the SC guys realy pissed me off. He is doing one good thing by getting the SC recognition among the racing community. I'm not saying he is the only one doing that for the SC, but at least he is not some punk kid with a stock SC that has no idea how special the SC is and is saving his money just to trade in his SC to buy a new V6 mutang or firebird. He might be acting this way because of an outside influence. For all the guys that go to Vegas you will see what I am talking about. This is not an excuse just something that might help you understand where he is coming from.

I do not think Jim is the problem the board is going to hell, come on now, you people that keep him going are playing his game, I still do not understand why if you know a post will be offensive to you, you read it??? Why do you post a response??? If everyone stops responding to offensive posts, the person posting them will eventually get the hint!!!....but I think personal matters are best left off the board, do most people come here to read about someone's love life? NO!, this is not what the board was meant for.

Damn I've gone on longer than I wanted to and just decided to shut up. Just give it some thought please.
Your fellow SC/XR7 enthusiast, Vernon C.
I had changed my mind a while back and after the latest round decided to remove this before someone thought I still stood by it.
Sorry to those I opposed.

I don't think anyone should get banned! I think that people ought to decide what is appropriate for the Non-Tech BBS! You should be able to say what you want, but there are things you just don't make public! Like relationships! And if you do, there may be some negative consequences. Unfortunately Jim has some attributes that make him an easy target and it's too bad, because I doubt he is a bad guy. His problems are just easier seen than any of ours, grammar, pride, etc, etc. If we knew half of the problems we all personally have that can't be seen, I am sure we could all have field day with one another. If Jim got banned, all that would mean is that in a month someone new would be singled out and harrassed! Considering this was aimed to be a vote for the members, I'd think that you'd need a vote of more than half of the users to succeed. If we have roughly 2000 reg. users on this board and there are twenty of you who don't like Jim, that's 1%. And this is only if Bill allowed it! We got a long way to go! Someone pitched a nickel, and there's my 2 cents.

The most important thing to watch is that he has made some remarks that any police department would look very hard at..if he does not stop and i mean right now then do something maybe a good talk from the god of s.c. would do it. this is something that the boss of this forum should address in privite, not on the open board......we do need some control and we need it now....i for one just found this forum not that long ago and already it makes me wonder.... yes he is tring to let people know a s.c. is and they can go fast,,but does he act this way at the track???if so we have something to worry about...there are many other s.c.'s around the country doing good and they have their heads under control.....good luck

Bragging, and good natured competitive taunting is one thing. Threatening violence is another. I really don't care what sorts of claims he makes about being the king of anything. I don't care if he runs 10s or 20s. Those that do can engage in the verbal challenge.
But when it reaches a point where he's picking fights, its time to call the authorities and kick him out. No questions asked. I have offered Jim advice on handling his anger. I hope he takes it to heart. However, if he's repeatedly threatened people on this Board (sounds like he has) and been warned, then it stupid to keep on giving him one more chance. So I'd say give him the boot. How many strikes do you get?

I for one think that this is pretty wierd. Being pretty much a new member, I find it to be discomforting to see how everyone argues so much. You place a post or a response, and if someone makes you angry getem' if you think you need to. Or you could just go on to the next topic and let it all be. I have already had a few confrontations with member, and I would categorize it as good fun. But in this case it seems to be jealousy as well, which I find to be a bit on the pathetic side. I say let the guy do whatever he wants, he has some good ideas, and from what I have seen, for the most part has contributed to this forum with his input. Why not just tell Jim to keep the Bragging on the down low, and keep the topics applicable to the forum...
That is all I got, hope I am not next on the choppin' block...

What good ideas? What contributions? You mean the Jim Dimmitt FAN CLUB? Yeah, that was HIS idea. You mean the threats to other members? You mean his alter-ego posts? I guess those are all good for this forum. And NO ONE here is jealous of his childish behavior. Or of his car.

His behavior last night on the SCCoSW forum was reprehensible! Fortunately those disgusting posts of his were deleted.
Jim - Two weeks ago you promised you'd leave. Please keep that promise.

Jason, even though I out weigh you by over 100lbs, I still wouldn't mess with you. You're "The KING" of NW Oklahoma City. All hail!
