Anyone imported their Canadian SC into the US?

I'm looking for pointers from anyone who imported their Canadian SC into the US on a permanent basis. Thanks in advance!!!

You will need a US EPA sticker from Ford. The Canadian models were not labeled under the hood for US EPA, at least mine wasn't (1990). Ford sent me one FOC with a letter stating that the car was US EPA legal. I stuck it on under the hood, and it was good to go. I just showed up at the border and said "I am importing this vehicle." They had me fill out the paperwork and I was on my way. Once I got to my destination here in the US, I went to my local US customs, (which happened to be at the airport) and got them to verify the car and fill out some more paperwork and that was it.

Didn't cost much if anything, but it was a bit of a hassle. Of course that was like 11 years ago, but I doubt much has changed.

I guess I need all the help I can get
