V Vernon Registered User Feb 20, 2003 #2 For sure no, the cast SC cranks used a imbalanced flwheel. The pics I saw show a rather large void in the cast crank flywheels. The guy who was posting had tried the same thing with severe engine vibrations resulting. Vernon

S scotte Registered User Feb 20, 2003 #5 oops i forgot to tell you i had an automatic (where i work everybody calls both flywheel & flex plates flywheels) so does the same apply to a flexplate? cast 89 is a no no but the 94 will work?
