Al...can you tell on the crank where the failure point is?
Is there any evidence of a hot spot on either the crank or the bearing. I looks like one nasty break bro.....sorry. When do they hope to get you back on the street?

Shooting for late Monday early Tuesday. No hot spots, and I havent seen the bearings up close, or payed any attention to them. Mike will be getting the crank and other stuff, and analyzing it since he is a Metallurgist.

Yea sir snaps alot, thats how you break a crank. That crank had to have had some intergral damage

looks bad glad your getting it going again, think maybe the harmonic balancer incident may have cause it to snap, vibration and such sorry about the crank dude but great that the guys could help you on this one , a members car goes down and the others come in and help out thats what makes this group so great, anyway Ill but out now good luck,
