my supercharger makes a small quite grindin sound like a bearing is out at idle. only when its fully warmed up. sound is comin from right on top of super charger. is it bad? or does it do it at idle? it goes away AS SOON as i give it ANY throttle. like seriously 100 rpm makes it go away. please help. thanks. steve.

There is coupler in the gear oil case that joins the drive shaft and the rotor gearset. When they get worn they make a rattling noise until put under a load. Some of the older SC had a spring loaded coupling (my 91 did)..when a spring or two breaks it will get noisey.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you haven't already...check your fluid level, it sould be to the bottom of the fill plug threads.
