here's the problem, i have developed a slow drip from the front of my sc. i took it to my local mechanic and he says it was coming from the timing cover. he also said this was to big a job for him and that i should take it to the dealer. looking in my hayes manual about water pumps i noticed that one bolt holding it on should be sealed with teflon or pipe dope. could this be the source of my leak? it does not look like it would be much of a job, does this hole lead to the water jacket? my mechanic also said i would need to drop the oil pan and remove the supercharger to fix the leak. your hellp will be greatly appreciated.
