Transmissions do not have a HP rating. They are rated on torque and it seems to me that they are rated at 335-350 ft lbs. Although they will hold up to much more than that. Ted Lyons has one in his supercharged 5.0 Bird, and Steve Griffith has one behind his turbocharged 5.0 Bird. Both cars make between 500-600 ft lbs of torque. :) You should be ok.

I thought 300-350 was what the T-5 and World Class T-5 could handle? I would have expected the M5R2 to handle far more than a stock 94-95 SC.

I believe the T-5 was rated at 285 and the "world class" one was 300. I could easily be wrong though.

I'd say with the size of the bearings and shafts this thing has to be good for at least the 400 maybe 450 mark

T-56 440lb
Super Duty T-5 330lb
Cobrs R Tremec 350lb

power-shifting these things with 4000lbs would EASILY blow the T-5 into 3rd just like that!!:D
