If you see this buddy give me call at home 416-335-5967 if I'm not there leave me a voicemail with your phone number.(cell is 416-274-9837).
What I am asking you is can you do up a set of exhaust manifolds for me over the next 3-4 weeks? There seems to be no one around that can do them and Tom Morana wants way to much because he hates doing them.

Hey Les, why don't you ask Seb what he'd charge to port your stock heads too, while you're at it. He did a great job on the set I bought off him, and the price was incredible!
;)

Sorry Les, I would but I am way to busy right now. I haven't any time lately to get anything accomplished. Last weekend was my first free weekend in 3 months. I was planning on getting the truck dynoed but I wasn't able to. I just don't see much free time coming within the next couple of weeks.
You can do a decent job at home if you have a diegrinder (either pneumatic, or electric) and some sanding cartridges. It's mostly time consuming, I have a couple carbide cutters that I can use to go a little wilder but for most people a good home port (taking your time) with cartridges would suffice.
As for the heads, well if I do another set I would like to take a fair amount of time on them to do them to my best ability :) See if there isn't a little more power to be tweeked with stock valving.

hey Les,
I know a few affordable porting artists that have done work for me on Ford V8 heads and have removed bumps from headers. LMK if you want a hook up...

Perfect Ryan and thank you, Yes if things work out it will be done on the weekend beginning April 4th at Seans, Looks like my heads are going in to Howie the place where Scott had his done. 700 complete including port matching the intake manifold. Actually they are a set of cores Ed has sitting in the back at Fine's.
No ARP head stud this time around, 210 bucks is 210 bucks I don't need to spend right now.

Les,
If you're just planning to do a full build-up next year, you could defer the purchase of the ARP head studs until then. So long as you're not running 18 psi boost, you should be fine with the replacement stock bolts.

Sean

What the hell is 18lbs boost..LOL???
If it's extremely cold I can peg a good solid 15 maybe tad more right now. in the summer it was around 14-15 at the track. I figure with the heads opened up and the exhaust manifolds ported I should drop about 2lbs, well into the safe zone.
