Anyone ever have a problem with clogged cats? I think mine are because the engine at wot runs strong but i dont feel like im pickin up the speed like i should be.

Dont play with plugged cats...

Ford attempted to replace my engine for the head gasket warranty repair.

Little did they know there was a plugged cat causing problems.

Six engines later it exploded, not before it cooked the last engine as well as it could before it died.

Now, that last engine is in there still (all the others lasted maybe 5000 miles max) and this one has always ticked and clattered since the cat cooked it. Ford denied replacement on this engine so I am stuck with it, but let me tell you that if you have a plugged cat, the cold weather is saving you.

If you can get it correctly diagnosed SOON, treat yourself to an emergency exhaust system overhaul... You'll save the engine and bring a smile to your face.

I have been driving it since june but it did not have a t-stat in it and it stayed extremely cool. I put a t-stat in it back in december and the needle stays in the middle except when i let it idle for a long time. Then it heats up almost to the red.
