Oil.

I will be executing my car's first oil change tomorrow, and have purchased MobiL1 synthetic 0w 30. Have you any Xperience with 0w30? I am curious about whether the engine behaves differently when this is in use.

Of course it should be less friction at startup than a 5 or 10w, but is it really near frictionless like some say?

I'm pretty sure you don't want to run zero weight oil in a car that you're going to be driving on the street. That oil is very thin and is made to cause less drag on the crank.

Will this oil cuase any excessive wear on my engine? It is commonly available at the stores, I could always return it. Or I could just run it this time and switch back to 5w-30 next time..

I certainly wouldn't recommend running it. You'll have lower oil pressure, and it won't do anything good to your bearings and valvetrain. Also, you may notice some of it getting past the rings. I would stick with 5w30, or use 10w30 for higher mileage engines.
