maf sensor on a diffrent sensor body

can i take the electronic part of my maf from a 90sc and put it in a maf housing made for 19lbs injectors and have it run any ware near normal

i have a 75 or 80mm maf with a bad sensor but the housing is good???

I've swapped the 55mm sensor onto the 70mm MAF body and it worked. Just watch for any detonation, if you get any, you'll have to put the old 1 back on. Good luck
