Where do I find the code for the EEC?

Probably going to kick myself for asking this.
Trying to find the code on the EEC for Brian to program a chip for me. I'm not sure where exactly to look for it, or which is the right group. Do I need to remove the EEC to see it? Here's what I'm looking at. What's the difference in the different codes?

There's a GTE in larger type, in parenthesis, but I'm doubting that's it:

I believe you will have to at least pull the EEC loose to see it. It is on the back of the grey plastic connector and may be on one other place on the box.

Pic #2... thats your door ajar, headlights left on, keys in the ignition dinger.

if you have the stock computer it also might say on the tag on the passenger inner fender by the hinge and possibly on the metal tag on the rad support also?

Thanks for the links and info. Can't find a plate under the hood in those places that has that on it. There are several codes of some sort on the plate by the radiator, but I can't discern what they are. I'll pull the computer tomorrow and have a look.

What do the codes represent?
