When checking oil level, I notice that the dipstick takes significant effort to insert for about the last 3 inches. There is a slight bend in the middle, but not something that should cause this. It feels like something stops it, then slight back & forth effort is necessary for it to insert smoothly.
What might cause this? A strange problem.
