Clunking sound in the rear...

Sounds like it's repeating quicker, as speed increases, so I know it's the driveline, but where? I'm thinking either the IRS bushings are shot, or a loose driveshaft. So what do you think, fellow SCCOAers??? :p

If it does it only around corners, it is the spider gears.

If in a straight line, it could be the wheel bearings, CV's, or carrier bearings.

Start by shaking down the half-shafts for play, then pull the wheels and check the wheel bearings.

If in fact it is your carrier bearings, you better hurry before destroying your gears.

Good Luck!!

Sometimes the simplest answer is the right one.

One of your wheels may be out of balance. That would also give you a heavy vibration.
