Just purchased a '91 SC. Someone in the vehicles past installed a burglar alarm, and the install was less than professional and I have now removed it. There is one artifact from this, and it was present before the removal, and that is some electrical gremlin that makes the engine cut-out momentarily when a hard bump is encountered. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Could be anything. Does the tach and everything die or is is just a stutter. Cold be cam sensor or crank sensor. Check all wiring regarding igniton to make sure there is no loose connections or fraying or brittle wires.

Thanks Aaron: It's a stutter, very short duration, and the harness near the ignition switch is where I'm going to sart tomorrow morning. gm
