Did my rear brake service today. I was getting a lot of rear brake fade after a stop or two so I figured it was time. The car has been on the road for about three months now and I haven't take the rear wheels off. It had been sitting for about 7 years before that.
Below, you will see why I was getting brake fade. Mud dobbers had taken nest!

Don't buy the Crap rear piston tool for 5 bucks, you might as well flush it!

So whats wrong with them. Looks pretty normal from what I can see. Nevermind the second picture just loaded. And you are using the wrong tool. Go to autozone and rent the correct one, it is just a small deposit and then they give you back your money when your done with the tool. You need the one that has the circle disc with two prongs, it works really well.

Ya, next time I will get that one! I had to throw this one on the brench grinder to make it work.

yeah that is the cube with the 4 prongs on it right? The circle only has the two prongs and it is easier to keep pressure when turning. Give it a shot it might be 20 or 40 bucks to rent but they give it all back to you when you return the tool.
